Hellrosa House

Hellrosa House is a bright rear extension with a lot of personality. The name comes from the candy pink RAL shade used across the metalwork, which was inspired by the 1975 Andy Warhol screenprint of Mick Jagger. The pink and green tones from the artwork helped shape the feel of the project, giving the home a bold and playful identity.

Hellrosa House sliding doors, pivot doors project in London

Hellrosa House is a bright rear extension with a lot of personality. The name comes from the candy pink RAL shade used across the metalwork, which was inspired by the 1975 Andy Warhol screenprint of Mick Jagger. The pink and green tones from the artwork helped shape the feel of the project, giving the home a bold and playful identity.

The original kitchen was dark and damp, so the aim was to bring in more daylight and create a space that felt much more open. The new dining area looks out towards the garden, with exposed box frame steels and a slim pink “pencil” column giving the extension a light but memorable structure.

The Maxlight glazed pivot door creates a clear route from the kitchen and dining space out to the gravel garden. New windows along the side elevation bring more light into the closet wing while fitting carefully within the existing brickwork.

Hellrosa House gives a colourful experience by turning a once-dark kitchen into a much brighter space.
